BIOGRAPHY OF AKIN OLUWADARE JNR.
My name is Akin Oluwadare Jnr. I was born to a Christian family of Late Reverend Isaac Morakinyo Oluwadare and Late Chief (Mrs) Alice Abeke Oluwadare. My mother taught me selfless service to humanity.
I had my primary education at St. Philip’s Anglican School ‘A’, Aramoko Ekiti, I attended Aramoko District Commercial Secondary School, Aramoko Ekiti for my secondary education. I had a short stint at the Federal School of Arts & Sciences, Ondo before proceeding to the university. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance at the Ondo State University, Ado Ekiti (OSUA) in 1994. I observed my national youth service at Benue State before joining the banking industry. I joined the service of Zenith Bank in 1997, where I have served for over two decades. I bagged Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Lagos in 1999. Owing to my passion for developing people, I became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), UK in 2010.
I am a co-founding member and pioneer Scribe of The Arcadian Club, Aramoko Ekiti, a social club that actively partook in the social and educational reorientation of youths in Aramoko in the late ’80s and early ’90s. I later served as the President of the Arcadian Club. I was President of Aramoko Students Association, OSUA chapter between 1992 and 1993. I am a co-founding member of the National Aramoko Students Association which is the umbrella body for all Aramoko Students Associations in all tertiary institutions nationwide.
